There aren’t many places available to do business in the Izamal market.
This is one of them.
It’s right in the heart of the market. Where people pass by. Where things are bought. Where things are sold. Where life happens.
The property isn’t huge.
But it has something more valuable than size: location.
Right now it has two operating spaces: a shoe store and a technical repair shop.
But that’s the least important part.
Here you could open:
A good hardware store (which, surprisingly, is still needed even in Mérida). A dessert and fresh drinks spot for people arriving melted by the heat. Fresh clothing. Hats for this relentless sun. An optometrist, dentist, or dietitian’s office.
Or a cantina with the coldest beers in Izamal. Yeah !
Now here’s the interesting part.
Shall we go upstairs?
Because on the upper floor you could live. Or expand the business. Or both.
You work downstairs. You live upstairs.
Classic. Smart. Profitable.
Yes, there’s a small limitation toward the back due to INAH regulations.
But it’s easily balanced out:
You’re in one of the best spots in Izamal to sell to two audiences at the same time.
The locals. And the tourists.
And when those two meet… your chances for profit double.
