We went to Merida in hopes of finding perhaps a nice little colonial house in the centro, but with dreams of haciendas running through our heads. Jen really listened to us and one of the properties she presented was something we hadn't remotely considered, a 200 year old colonial house needing restoration in a small town outside of Merida. We went home to Arizona to mull over our options and realized that this home was our dream that we didn't even know could come true. We emailed Jen about our decision and she & the Tierra Yucatan staff took care of every aspect of the purchase. Jen then introduced us to a great contractor and the adventure began.
